Twenty years in enterprise technology sales and leadership, working at the intersection of market, academia, and governance.
I'm João Manozzo, a technology and strategy executive based in Brazil, with two decades selling and leading enterprise software, cloud, and AI across Brazil and Latin America.
My work has always been about growth: opening new enterprise and public-sector markets, building consultative relationships with C-level buyers, and helping global technology companies turn regional ambition into revenue. Along the way I've carried quota at Oracle, led public-sector expansion across LATAM at Rocket.Chat, and advised startups on how to go to market and scale.
More recently I've been building a bridge between practice and theory, pursuing a PhD in Economics and Finance, investing as an angel in early-stage companies, and studying how technology businesses create and capture value.
It's also where I do my favorite kind of thinking: reading where technology, AI, and capital are heading, and translating it into what it means for businesses in Latin America and beyond.
Outside of work, I'm a distance runner chasing the next race, a traveler who has spent months exploring dozens of countries, and a perpetual beginner, currently teaching myself the harmonica. The same things that make a good executive, I've found, make a good life: showing up consistently, staying curious, and being willing to start over.
